Squeegee Resharpening System

The patented squeegee re-sharpening system by Pleiger Plastics Company is revolutionary. With little effort, a square-cut squeegee can be re-sharpened with extraordinary precision. A standard utility replacement blade provides a clean sharp edge for any screen printing operation. Replacement of the squeegee cutting blade is simple and fast to change out thus reducing downtime. This squeegee maintenance system is lightweight and requires no electricity or compressed air for operation. No special operating skills or training is necessary for this clean, dust free operation that extends the life of squeegees. It is supplied with all required tools and hardware for operation in addition to a detailed instruction manual.

Abrasive grinding re-sharpening systems are time consuming, dusty, and create imperfect coarse edges on squeegees as part of their re-sharpening process. This sort of grinding produces micro-tears in the polyurethane and increases the overall surface area, which will allow ink and screen printing solvents to attack more readily.
